After a meeting today, we decided to have another look at our adoption donations and feel our prices were set too low. We were adopting neutered ferrets out for the same price you could buy unneutered in the paper and each adoption we were losing funds on. We aren't a big rescue and it does hit us in our pocket. We previously haven't been able to spay our jills but have found another vet who is willing to do it for £35. We also castrate our hobs for £35. So from now on, we will ask for a £35 donation for our spayed jills and neutered hobs. We also previously adopted out our kits for £5.
